Resin Sculpture Head Mask Neo-Art Deco by Lindsey Balkweill 1986

  
Resin wall mask from 1986, signed "Lindsey B" on the back of the mold. Lindsey Balkweill and her sister Valérie founded Lindsey B in 1983 in Fulham, London. Lindsey B created a range of decorative ceramic and plaster heads that embodied the graphic neo-art deco look of the 80s. Most of the pieces were used as decorative items. This plastic object called "Brunhilde" was originally intended to display glasses. There is therefore a space at the back for the right temple of the glasses. The male version was called Brian. This specimen shows signs of use, note that originally there is only one hole at the back, the smaller of the two has been added. Please look closely at the photos..
