Rare Art Deco Signed MART Animal Sculpture Statue of a Pelican

  
Superb sculpture, animal statue in regule representing a bird, a very beautiful pelican from the Art Deco period. It is signed MART (XXth century) on the tail, in relief.

Estimated period: first half of the 20th century, 1930. Time has done its work on the dark gray to silver-gray patina.

Terrace in orange granulated marble, in very good condition. Total dimensions: 17.5 x 8.5 x 10.5cm.
