A landscapist and painter of nudes in the traditional style, she is also credited with a ceiling design for the Opera, in an Italianate style. In 1924, she exhibited at the Salon des Artistes français in Paris.
The following year, she won a silver medal at the same exhibition. She participated in the Prix de Rome in 1926, receiving an honorable mention for "Sleeping Nymph under the gaze of the god Pan." The following year, she won the First Prize Roux at the Institut de France. In 1931, she taught in Dijon. In 1935, she was a pensioner at the Casa Velázquez. In 1937, she won a silver medal at the international exhibition. She passed away in 1981. The painting is signed on the back by Lucienne Leroux.
