Jean Émile Laboureur is a French painter, draftsman, engraver, etcher, lithographer, and illustrator. Laboureur exhibited in Paris starting in 1911 and settled there in 1912.He then used less wood engraving and preferred etching. His role is considered "considerable in the great movement of modern art." He also collaborated on magazines such as La Gazette du Bon Ton and La Revue musicale. In his Parisian studio, Laboureur taught the art of engraving to students such as Marie Laurencin (whose engraved works catalog he also established) and André Dunoyer de Segonzac.
