Faust, by Louis Icart (etching, pencil signed). Signed in pencil at the bottom right. Accidents, creases and rips of paper in the white margin only, defects that will disappear of course once the work framed. Note that given the alcove form of the engraving, the sheet has often been cut following the shape of the engraving, to be framed, hence the lack of paper at the corners to the left of the sheet are of relative importance. The engraving is clean, the paper solid and a very thick frame. Paper with no watermark, square stamp on the bottom left illegible. Sheet size: 503 x 720 mm.

Size of the tank about 350 x 530 mm (maximum dimensions), without the margin: 51,5 x 33 cm approximately. Beautiful board on thick paper, draw unknown.
