'Buste de gladiateur' or 'La colère d'Achille'. Chiselled bronze sculpture with nuanced brown patina. Lost wax casting by SUSSE Frères. Rectangular base forming a terrace made of black marble (chips at the corners). Signed 'Constant ROUX' in cursive letters, foundry stamp 'Susse Frères' and mention 'Lost wax'.

Large model, height 45 cm. Bronze alone: H35 x L30 x P31.5 cm. Bronze with terrace: H44.5 x L37.5 x P31.5 cm.
