Louis botinelly, born 2 January 1883, was the son of a marbrier and stone tailor, native to the canton of Ticino (Swiss) and established in that city at the time of the birth of louis. The family then moved to Marseille, rue saint-pierre, in a workshop inherited by the father of botinelly at the death of his brother.
