He became a member of the Society of French Artists and was awarded a silver medal at the Salon of French artists in 1921, followed by a gold medal in 1924. In 1932, he was honored with the title of Chevalier of the Order of the Legion of Honour.

Among his most famous works are the Two Lions or The Sun and the Sea and the World and Energy, created for the monumental staircase of Gare Saint Charles in Marseille. He also created numerous animal sculptures, some of which were published by Susse and Les Neveux de J Lehmann. You can find more information about him in the bibliography by B Catley, in the book "Art deco and other figures", on page 45. The sculpture has a height of 25cm and dimensions of 55.5 x 17cm.
