This superb sculpture is made of Art Cast Iron from Max Le Verrier's workshop. It is an Art Deco animal figure representing an antelope or gazelle.
This sculpture emphasizes movement and sharp lines, the beige stone promontory gives momentum to this animal leaping forward. It is a green patinated regule. Dating from the early 20th century, it is signed "MARCO" for Jean de Marco. Dimensions: 20 x 13 cm in height.
I note signs of wear and chips on the marble. Do not hesitate to contact me for more information or additional photos, I will respond as quickly as possible.
