Alfredo biagini (Rome 1886 - 1952): trained in italia, he settled for a time in Paris where he studied the animals of the zoo of the city. Back in italia at the beginning of the xxe, he made animal art one of his specialties. He exploits sculpture from several materials: bronze, ceramic, terracotta or marble. He participates in many exhibitions. He died in 1952 before he was able to complete his work. His works are exhibited in galleries or in sales houses. On this bronze paper cut is represented a lion in a classical certe posture, but whose strength and charisma are very well expressed by the talent of biagini. The golden patina is beautiful.
