Sublime teapot in salt stoneware and enamelled signed marcellus aubry (châtelet 1909 1982) art deco. Signature monogrammed and engraved under the base.

Dimensions: 30 cm x 15 cm. Always attributed by erreur to. Student and collaborator of his father, edgard aubry, for twenty years; he inherited the good qualities of artist and technician he surely develops, to the point of being considered one of our best potters of art.

Keeps the essential characteristics of the local sandstone manufacturing, while giving it a personal and more artistic character, especially in the field of forms. Like his father and his older brother, does all the work from the work until the retouching. Member of the royal artistic and literary circle of charleroi, "hainaut artists" and "crafts" brussels. Work at the museum of Charleroi. Mentioned in "Two centuries of signatures of Belgian artists".
